“So ive been coming here for since June of 2025, I’ve had a really great experience here. Christen, Carolyn, Devin, and Noah are all incredible… just an amazing team that really makes you feel welcomed and taken care of. The staff overall is professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely cares about your wellness journey. What I really appreciate is the variety of services they offer. From injections to cryotherapy to the sauna, it really feels like a one-stop shop for recovery and wellness. Being a member definitely makes it worthwhile, especially if you’re someone who takes your health and recovery seriously. Pricing feels moderate for the quality of services you receive, and while there’s always room for improvement anywhere, my overall experience has been extremely positive. I’m honestly just grateful for the care I’ve received here. They really embody what wellness culture in Austin should feel like. Highly recommend.”
“Tried my first cryotherapy session and I honestly feel amazing after just one session! The cold was intense at first, but it was quick and surprisingly refreshing. Afterward, I felt energized, less sore, and just overall in a better mood. It’s like a full-body reset. Definitely something I’d do again—especially for recovery and stress relief. Highly recommend”
“I had a great experience at Cryo Body Works. The staff were friendly, professional, and made the whole process easy and comfortable. Everything felt very clean and well organized, including the robes provided. I liked that they let you choose your own Spotify music during the session. I tried the extreme cryotherapy and came out feeling surprisingly light, refreshed, and overall better. Definitely a solid spot if you’re looking to try full body cryotherapy or make it part of your recovery routine.”

Evidence & context
What research says about cold therapy
Recovery
Reviews of whole-body cold therapy mostly show effects on perceived muscle soreness and recovery after intense exercise. The evidence base is heterogeneous and samples are often small.
Research base
Studies describe short-term effects on pain perception and mobility. Results are inconsistent and robust long-term data is largely missing — a therapeutic benefit is not established.
Limitations
Cold therapy does not replace medical treatment. Effect, dosage and frequency vary individually — pre-existing conditions require medical clearance beforehand.
