Katy Trail Cryo is a hidden gem in the Knox street area! So careful and attentive, the staff walked me through the entire process and made me feel comfortable throughout. I enjoyed the cryo & compression, but they have even more services worth checking out.

I’m a dancer so I’m always pushing my body to the limits and I worked my muscles a little too hard a few weeks ago and was told about Cryo. I was a little nervous because I hate being cold but it was not what I expected. Super easy and fast and you feel amazing afterwards. It also helped heal my muscles before a performance so I highly recommended!!!

Came in with a killer migraine and worked with Ashley on the best options/services. Ended up doing the cryo facial and was so grateful for the pain relief! It ended up helping to break up over a week long migraine for me!! Highly recommend visiting Ashley and the team here.

Evidence & context

What research says about cold therapy

Recovery

Reviews of whole-body cold therapy mostly show effects on perceived muscle soreness and recovery after intense exercise. The evidence base is heterogeneous and samples are often small.

Research base

Studies describe short-term effects on pain perception and mobility. Results are inconsistent and robust long-term data is largely missing — a therapeutic benefit is not established.

Limitations

Cold therapy does not replace medical treatment. Effect, dosage and frequency vary individually — pre-existing conditions require medical clearance beforehand.
