“What an amazing place!! Staff is present and attentive to your needs as a customer. They explain everything, ensure you comfortable through your session. A must do for Oslo visit! It’s an experience and adventure.”
“Nice amount of saunas, most with sunbathing spots. The cold showers and baths are a great addition. There is no WC and the changing rooms are quite small and only unissex. Hopefully with the renovations this will change. I advise to bring your own locker.”
“An amazing and unique Scandinavian experience that we enjoyed so much we did it two or our three days in Oslo. We did it on a Wednesday and Thursday. Wednesday we made a reservation but Thursday we just stopped by and took walk-in slots (for a 15 percent discount using the Oslo card). For a weekdays, grabbing walk-in slots seems like a viable option. Changing rooms are unisex which is a bit different but it works. You have to bring your own locks but we just left our stuff in a bin unlocked and it was fine. There's about a dozne different saunas and since they are floating I'm sure they rotate out from time to time. We found one or two that had the best views of the fjord and if you rotate and share you can often find one that is fairly uncrowded. All of the available saunas had a place to jump (or ease yourself) into the water. We brought our 7, 10 and 12 year olds and they did fine and we saw a few other family there.”

Research base
Studies describe short-term effects on pain perception and mobility. Results are inconsistent and robust long-term data is largely missing — a therapeutic benefit is not established.
