Great place! Excellent for both cryotherapy and rehabilitation. Antoine is a very good physical trainer.

The support offered for my rehabilitation is excellent. Antoine is competent, attentive, and takes individual needs into account. He prepares the sessions with varied exercises to prevent boredom and ensure each session remains enjoyable. I can clearly see my progress and have committed to the long term to maintain my fitness and abilities over the years. Not being naturally athletic, I've come to enjoy these weekly training sessions. I should also mention that the atmosphere and interactions are friendly, which is important to me as well.

Evidence & context

What research says about cold therapy

Recovery

Reviews of whole-body cold therapy mostly show effects on perceived muscle soreness and recovery after intense exercise. The evidence base is heterogeneous and samples are often small.

Research base

Studies describe short-term effects on pain perception and mobility. Results are inconsistent and robust long-term data is largely missing — a therapeutic benefit is not established.

Limitations

Cold therapy does not replace medical treatment. Effect, dosage and frequency vary individually — pre-existing conditions require medical clearance beforehand.
