Years-old adductor injuries and knee inflammation, pain-free from the first session. Amazing and effective. I come once a year because I'm an athlete.

I've tried it twice. The first time was yesterday, after training, and it gives an incredible feeling of relaxation and improves my mood. I can say this because I slept poorly the night before, and the previous workout was awful, leaving me in a bad mood. It really helped. Today I tried it before training, and I felt more comfortable inside since I knew how it all worked, which I liked even more. During the workout, I felt like I was floating and had no muscle fatigue, but afterward, my whole body felt relaxed. I recommend everyone try it at least once. The staff are all very attentive, both Rafa, who provides excellent service at the studio, and Bea, who checked in with me on social media to ask how it went and how I felt. If I had to give it a 10, I would.

A unique experience! The feeling of well-being is wonderful. I feel it's essential, as it can surely regulate the endocrine system, which is so important for women. Besides the incredibly gratifying sensation on the skin and muscles, not to mention the excellent service and the perfectly explained benefits. I'll definitely be back! Thank you, Rafa.

Evidence & context

What research says about cold therapy

Recovery

Reviews of whole-body cold therapy mostly show effects on perceived muscle soreness and recovery after intense exercise. The evidence base is heterogeneous and samples are often small.

Research base

Studies describe short-term effects on pain perception and mobility. Results are inconsistent and robust long-term data is largely missing — a therapeutic benefit is not established.

Limitations

Cold therapy does not replace medical treatment. Effect, dosage and frequency vary individually — pre-existing conditions require medical clearance beforehand.
