Terrie is GREAT and my experience at Park Ave Cryo has been awesome! You get used to the cold blasts rather quickly and time goes by fast. I’ve only had a few cryo sessions on my belly area but I can see a difference and that makes me happy. I can’t wait to see what a few more sessions will do!

I have been seeing Terrie for over ten years now. After living with severe back pain for years and having tried three chiropractors, massages, physical therapy and acupuncture, I'd resigned myself to the pain. Then I went to see Terrie and in one visit, she was able to do what years of other treatments, including massages, had not been able to accomplish! My father was so impressed by how Terrie was able to help me, that he's also been seeing her for years now, even though he has to drive over an hour.

Terri is great and very informative about the whole cryo therapy process. I have had 3 cryo facials with celluma LED treatments and my skin looks amazing. I also had a treatment on my knee for pain and swelling and 4 weeks later my knee is still pain free. Thank you Terri.

Evidence & context

What research says about cold therapy

Recovery

Reviews of whole-body cold therapy mostly show effects on perceived muscle soreness and recovery after intense exercise. The evidence base is heterogeneous and samples are often small.

Research base

Studies describe short-term effects on pain perception and mobility. Results are inconsistent and robust long-term data is largely missing — a therapeutic benefit is not established.

Limitations

Cold therapy does not replace medical treatment. Effect, dosage and frequency vary individually — pre-existing conditions require medical clearance beforehand.
