A lovely little oasis to unwind. I visited daily during my stay, and despite being relatively small, it never felt overcrowded. On my first visit, the very friendly and welcoming staff gave me a small tour of the facilities, which was a nice touch. The spa includes a steam bath, a sauna, and a narrow but surprisingly long pool with warm water. There's also a small, stylish bar with complimentary drinks and snacks, plus a menu of cocktails and drinks available at an extra charge. Spa treatments such as massages can be booked, and at the entrance there's also the option to purchase the — in my opinion fantastic — EDITION x Le Labo products. The only thing I personally missed was loungers to relax on, but that aside, this spa is wonderful.

Love this place. Got a massage as soon as I arrived to the hotel and it was magnificent. the facilities are top notch and I never found them super crowded. Personnel is extra nice and attentive.

The Edition Spa is tucked in a private area on the floor beneath the lobby. Great privacy, installations, towels, robes, and slippers are provided for. The staff is wonderful. Our masseuse therapist were technical and knowledgeable. Camila was great. Once you have finished, or beforehand, you can use the other amenities like the spa and the pool.

Evidence & context

What research says about cold therapy

Recovery

Reviews of whole-body cold therapy mostly show effects on perceived muscle soreness and recovery after intense exercise. The evidence base is heterogeneous and samples are often small.

Research base

Studies describe short-term effects on pain perception and mobility. Results are inconsistent and robust long-term data is largely missing — a therapeutic benefit is not established.

Limitations

Cold therapy does not replace medical treatment. Effect, dosage and frequency vary individually — pre-existing conditions require medical clearance beforehand.
