I've had the opportunity to try several services at Cryomend, including red light therapy, compression therapy, cryotherapy, and the sauna/cold plunge experience. Every visit has been a great experience. The facility is always clean, well-maintained, and welcoming. Booking appointments online is quick and easy, and everything runs efficiently when you arrive. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and make you feel comfortable throughout the process. I appreciate having so many wellness and recovery options available in one convenient location. Whether you're looking to support recovery, improve overall wellness, or simply try something new, I'd definitely recommend giving Cryomend a visit.

From the welcoming atmosphere to the knowledge of the staff and effectiveness of treatments, Cryomend is a quiet gem for recovery and self care. Most recently I received localized cryotherapy for a shoulder injury. Though skeptical, the treatment has already resulted in more mobility and less pain in less than 24 hrs. All of the other services are fabulous - get a membership! Totally worth it because you will want to return again and again.

After complaining about not being able to lose my "baby weight", my Brother (who has gone to Cryomend for cryotherapy for years) insisted that I go to see Nicole. I had no idea how a sports recovery center was going to help, but nothing else was working, so I went. For the past 6 months, I have been doing EMS training and CAROL twice a week, with the occasional contrast therapy and red light therapy and I am down 25 pounds and 3 pant sizes! I look and feel better now than I did before I had kids. I have way more energy and can almost keep up with my toddlers. Going to Cryomend and working with Nicole changed my life. Nicole is one of a kind, extremely knowledgeable, and was able to work through several of my health issues. I cannot recommend Cryomend more to anyone looking to get in shape after having kids, or just eating too many burgers. It works!

Evidence & context

What research says about cold therapy

Recovery

Reviews of whole-body cold therapy mostly show effects on perceived muscle soreness and recovery after intense exercise. The evidence base is heterogeneous and samples are often small.

Research base

Studies describe short-term effects on pain perception and mobility. Results are inconsistent and robust long-term data is largely missing — a therapeutic benefit is not established.

Limitations

Cold therapy does not replace medical treatment. Effect, dosage and frequency vary individually — pre-existing conditions require medical clearance beforehand.
