“I had a great experience at District Cryo Therapy! I actually came because I found out my nurse practitioner, Sarah Bennett, recently moved here. I’ve known Sarah for almost 10 years, and she’s the best!! knowledgeable, caring, and someone I trust completely. The clinic was very clean, smelled amazing, and had a welcoming atmosphere. Brandi made me feel comfortable right away, and my nurse, Kylie, was incredibly kind with a great bedside manner. I had read reviews mentioning people felt pressured to buy a package afterward. They do go over their packages, but I personally saw it as them explaining the options, which makes sense since the initial treatment is offered at such a low introductory price. I definitely considered purchasing a package, but I have other financial priorities right now, so I decided to wait. It’s something I absolutely plan on doing in the future. Overall, I had a wonderful experience and would definitely recommend them!”
“Recently visited for a Saturday morning appointment. Easy to find paid street parking in front of the location. The staff was very friendly it was my first visit and I was given a short tour of the space and available services. I went in for full body cryotherapy which only lasts 3 minutes. I was given shorts to wear along with slippers sock and gloves. They provide headphones if you would like to listen to music during the service. The cryotherapy was quick and they can adjust based on your comfort level. Each service room is private which I liked. Afterwards a team member asked if I wanted to visit again for another service and told me about their memberships. I had an enjoyable and relaxing experience and look forward to visiting again. $$ (depending upon service and membership)”
“From the jump I felt so welcome when I came in. I’ve done cryo, red light and lymphatic massage over the last few weeks and each service is explained in detail so I know exactly what benefits I’m getting. Melissa is very helpful and patient. They also let you pick whatever music you want for each service. The cryo is obviously cold but I’ve seen such a diff in my recovery. 10/10 recommend”

Evidence & context
What research says about cold therapy
Recovery
Reviews of whole-body cold therapy mostly show effects on perceived muscle soreness and recovery after intense exercise. The evidence base is heterogeneous and samples are often small.
Research base
Studies describe short-term effects on pain perception and mobility. Results are inconsistent and robust long-term data is largely missing — a therapeutic benefit is not established.
Limitations
Cold therapy does not replace medical treatment. Effect, dosage and frequency vary individually — pre-existing conditions require medical clearance beforehand.
