On arriving at London Cryo for Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy I was greeted their professional friendly staff Kelly and Michaela who talked me through the process and how it all works. I felt assured at all times. After the first session I felt positive and energised and have noticed a dramatic shift in my energy levels and wellbeing after 20 sessions. Can’t recommend this enough!

Excellent customer service. I was recommended by a friend/client. I cannot remember the dear ladies names at the Liverpool Street Location that were so helpful to me and assisted and supported me throughout my first and second sessions. I recommend 3 mins of going into the chamber as you get really good toning results, feel energised and very refreshed! 10/10 for attentive service, advice, education, and cleanliness. I will be purchasing the membership.

Fantastic service from start to finish. Michaela, Shelly, Lakshmi and Kelly were exceptionally kind, professional and clearly experts in their field. I felt thoroughly looked after from the moment I arrived and throughout each of my treatments. The results are incredible. I’m very much looking forward to returning regularly.

Evidence & context

What research says about cold therapy

Recovery

Reviews of whole-body cold therapy mostly show effects on perceived muscle soreness and recovery after intense exercise. The evidence base is heterogeneous and samples are often small.

Research base

Studies describe short-term effects on pain perception and mobility. Results are inconsistent and robust long-term data is largely missing — a therapeutic benefit is not established.

Limitations

Cold therapy does not replace medical treatment. Effect, dosage and frequency vary individually — pre-existing conditions require medical clearance beforehand.
