I went to the studio twice in a week before going home! Georgina is great to do the treatment while talking to me like a good and caring friend! The cryofacial makes good changes to my hormonal acnes. It calmed down the redness and inflammation and you can see the result right after the facial which is non-invasive! The result stayed even in the next day so that's why I have to do it again before leaving London. Strongly recommend to anybody:)

I had my first Cryo facial last Thursday and I absolutely love it. 30 minutes of getting blasted with -130 air was bizarrely very relaxing. The reason for going is that I suffer with Rosacea which causes my cheeks to be red, dry, bumpy and often pimpley. I’ve tried a lot of things creams, drinking more water and changing my diet to no dairy etc yet I still flare up it’s very unpredictable. I have to say honestly I didn’t noticed the results straight after the treatment but I felt great non the less. The next morning however I was completely blown away with how smooth my cheeks were, I’d say they were 90% less red. It’s Sunday and I’m still looking at my face and smiling at the results. I’m 100% reccomend trying this treatment. Georgina the therapist is also very warming, hughly knowledgable and makes you feel really comfortable from the get go. Basically it’s a win win all round!

Evidence & context

What research says about cold therapy

Recovery

Reviews of whole-body cold therapy mostly show effects on perceived muscle soreness and recovery after intense exercise. The evidence base is heterogeneous and samples are often small.

Research base

Studies describe short-term effects on pain perception and mobility. Results are inconsistent and robust long-term data is largely missing — a therapeutic benefit is not established.

Limitations

Cold therapy does not replace medical treatment. Effect, dosage and frequency vary individually — pre-existing conditions require medical clearance beforehand.
