I had a great experience with Kathy at Reboot Float & Cryo Spa! She was welcoming, professional, and made me feel comfortable from the moment I arrived. She took the time to explain everything clearly, answered all of my questions, and made sure I felt at ease throughout the session. Her positive attitude and attention to detail really stood out. You can tell she genuinely cares about her clients and wants them to have the best experience possible. I highly recommend booking with Kathy if you’re looking for excellent service and a relaxing visit!

I think it’s worth trying out a float. If you are looking for peace, this is how you can force it upon yourself. Here are a couple of takeaways: it gets boring, you need to commit, and don’t let your mind get away from you. Try counting. I’m 6'1", and I could totally relax everything without touching the sides. If the thing were a few inches deeper, I think I’d personally prefer that. If I moved, my rear would hit the bottom and kind of take me out of the float mindset. I did no lights. I wanted to see and hear nothing. You do hear yourself, though. Just you and your thoughts . I did the cryo chamber first. If you are from the North East like me just go for the Pro. You can handle it trust me.

Treated myself to float therapy for the first time to relieve body tension and left with a deep sense of relaxation for the rest of the day! The staff was kind and I appreciated the lemon water and subtle lemongrass aromatherapy. The only thing is that the neck support pillow in the float pod had rips from overuse and I wish I could get the light to stay the same color. I'd love to come back to try the infrared sauna with the float!

Evidence & context

What research says about cold therapy

Recovery

Reviews of whole-body cold therapy mostly show effects on perceived muscle soreness and recovery after intense exercise. The evidence base is heterogeneous and samples are often small.

Research base

Studies describe short-term effects on pain perception and mobility. Results are inconsistent and robust long-term data is largely missing — a therapeutic benefit is not established.

Limitations

Cold therapy does not replace medical treatment. Effect, dosage and frequency vary individually — pre-existing conditions require medical clearance beforehand.
