I have been going to Sport Cryo for about 4 months for back issues. I starred out going 2 - 3 times per week for the first 4 weeks. I'm now doing once a week. It has greatly reduced my pain, inflammation and increased my mobility and flexibility! I was out-of-town for 10 days last month and really felt the difference missing my weekly session! Kim (owner) is amazing! She does a super job explaining how it works and always makes sure you're getting what you need for healing! Cindy is also wonderful - friendly and professional! If you're thinking about trying this out - JUST GO FOR IT!! Highly recommend!

I had a total knee replacement in December and have been having sport Cryo twice a week since surgery. The total body and knee specific Cryo have helped my mobility and range of motion so much that my doctor has given me a prognosis of three months to recovery as opposed to one year. I recommend this program to anyone who is has an injury or is recovering from a surgery!! Thanks to Kim and Cindy for their expert care!

I have been doing cryotherapy treatments with Sport Cryo 1 to 2 times a week for about 6 months. I have very bad arthritis and from day one I have felt better. I’m unable to use anti-inflammatories and I can’t believe the difference I feel. This has changed my life. Thank you Kim for introducing me.

Evidence & context

What research says about cold therapy

Recovery

Reviews of whole-body cold therapy mostly show effects on perceived muscle soreness and recovery after intense exercise. The evidence base is heterogeneous and samples are often small.

Research base

Studies describe short-term effects on pain perception and mobility. Results are inconsistent and robust long-term data is largely missing — a therapeutic benefit is not established.

Limitations

Cold therapy does not replace medical treatment. Effect, dosage and frequency vary individually — pre-existing conditions require medical clearance beforehand.
