What guests report
★★★★★ 4.2 / 5 (154 reviews)
“Termasaje is just as advertised and perfect if you enjoy hot and cold plunges. There are 2 pools and I believe it may be possible to request a warmer temperature if you prefer in the hot pool. The massage was great, but next time I would upgrade to shiatsu or deep tissue. The setting is simple without frills, very clean and professional.”
“Really cool place; very authentic. The 30 minute massage I had with el jefe was amazing and although the baths need a lick of paint, they served their purpose well. :)”
“a standout experience in granada. relax without crowds and avoid the overpriced & over crowded hammams the cherry blossom tea is a must.”

Evidence & context
What research says about cold therapy
Recovery
Reviews of whole-body cold therapy mostly show effects on perceived muscle soreness and recovery after intense exercise. The evidence base is heterogeneous and samples are often small.
Research base
Studies describe short-term effects on pain perception and mobility. Results are inconsistent and robust long-term data is largely missing — a therapeutic benefit is not established.
Limitations
Cold therapy does not replace medical treatment. Effect, dosage and frequency vary individually — pre-existing conditions require medical clearance beforehand.
