★★★★★ 5.0 / 5 (36 reviews)
“We had a lovely experience at the breathwork and sauna session with Dean. It was more of a relaxed / gentle breathwork routine which was lovely on a Saturday morning. Dean was an amazing instructor and helped us get through a tough cold plunge! We would highly recommend and would definitely come back again. We really enjoyed the combination of breathwork, cold plunge and sauna in one session.”
“This is an excellent community mindes gym and wellness place. The fire and ice sessions are the best around as the whole session is guided - through breath work and stretching and through the ice bath. The sauna is really hot and lovely and sociable and the ice baths are properly chilled and cold around 1-2°. I highly recommend all the wellbeing sessions here”
“I did the Fire and Ice session and it was honestly amazing! The breathwork and gentle movement was really relaxing. It was so great having the instructor there to help us do the ice baths and show us how to breath etc, it was far colder than Ive ever managed before and I stayed in much longer! I really felt great for hours after this session!”

Evidence & context
What research says about cold therapy
Recovery
Reviews of whole-body cold therapy mostly show effects on perceived muscle soreness and recovery after intense exercise. The evidence base is heterogeneous and samples are often small.
Research base
Studies describe short-term effects on pain perception and mobility. Results are inconsistent and robust long-term data is largely missing — a therapeutic benefit is not established.
Limitations
Cold therapy does not replace medical treatment. Effect, dosage and frequency vary individually — pre-existing conditions require medical clearance beforehand.
