★★★★★ 5.0 / 5 (14 reviews)
“Expect the unexpected I'd say! I've been in a leisure centre ice bath but this is a whole different level. Once the initial two mins are over it's actually quite therapeutic! I've fibro and into trying alternative therapy, I'd recommend and defo return. Oh and I recommend the bath followed by the infa sunna. Liz was brilliant, answered all questions and talked us through it all! Even get sexy boots to wear”
“Kim is so lovely and welcoming keeps you chatting so you don't feel the cold as much . Great for aches and pains, been 3 times so far and loved it every time. 10 mins in the cryospa and 30 mins in the infrared sauna works wonders and you'll sleep like a baby afterwards! Can't recommend highly enough!”
“Always welcoming and a good catch up into training and the benefits of various treatments”

Evidence & context
What research says about cold therapy
Recovery
Reviews of whole-body cold therapy mostly show effects on perceived muscle soreness and recovery after intense exercise. The evidence base is heterogeneous and samples are often small.
Research base
Studies describe short-term effects on pain perception and mobility. Results are inconsistent and robust long-term data is largely missing — a therapeutic benefit is not established.
Limitations
Cold therapy does not replace medical treatment. Effect, dosage and frequency vary individually — pre-existing conditions require medical clearance beforehand.
