Angie is great and an experienced, knowledgeable professional who is passionate about what she does. Although she has been practicing for decades, she continues to take the time for continued training and conferences to make sure she is providing the best care for her clients. I've done both electrolysis and cyro-freezepen treatments and am pleased with both. Angie is the second electrolysis in the city that I visited after my experience with another practioner seemed off and online research supported my misgivings. I definitely feel like I'm in much better hands with Angie. She helped make sure i was doing the best prep and after care, and does little things to make the experience that much more tolerable (let's face it, electrolysis is always going to be torcher but she takes every step to reduce the pain). I look forward to seeing her for more treatments in the future. It's your skin, so it's worth it to be sure it's being well taken care of by someone who has the knowledge, experience and skills to do the job well. Thanks Angie!

I have had nothing but the best success going to Angie! It doesn’t even feel like you’re there for an appointment it feels like you’re visiting with a friend! She always keeps a good conversation going and makes you feel so unbelievably comfortable! She has helped my confidence so much and I’ve only been seeing her for 6 months! Feels like I’ve known her my whole life! Thank you lovely for helping me get of my dreadful unwanted hair! Would recommend her for any unpleasant hair those razors/tweezers just ain’t cutting it!

I used to see Angie when I was a teenager. She made a life changing different in my confidence. I started out with a decent amount of facial hair and so glad I met Angie to permanently remove it. Later in life, during hormonal changes and stressful events, hair would return after years of being gone and Angie would always be there to help me get through it. I move around the world internationally now and often think about seeing another person, but the truth is - I just trust Angie so much that I keep coming back to her when I need it! I’m so lucky to know her!

Evidence & context

What research says about cold therapy

Recovery

Reviews of whole-body cold therapy mostly show effects on perceived muscle soreness and recovery after intense exercise. The evidence base is heterogeneous and samples are often small.

Research base

Studies describe short-term effects on pain perception and mobility. Results are inconsistent and robust long-term data is largely missing — a therapeutic benefit is not established.

Limitations

Cold therapy does not replace medical treatment. Effect, dosage and frequency vary individually — pre-existing conditions require medical clearance beforehand.
