What guests report
★★★★★ 4.9 / 5 (89 reviews)
“The front desk staff was knowledgeable about the services! My fiancé and I enjoyed our detox-time together in the Sauna and then we took our turns with 2 additional services. We each did the Floatation Therapy, I did Cryotherapy and he did the Normatec! I don't know if it was all mental or not, but after the "Sauna, Cryotherapy and the Floatation Therapy" I didn't have any lower back pain all evening! Would absolutely recommend!”
“I came in for a 4pm sensory deprivation float and Drew was extremely kind and explained everything about the facility. He was passionate about the process and knows how beneficial these services can be. He let me know of the other services offered without pushing anything or even a membership. Just explaining what they offered in case I wanted to come back for future visits. I was there to relax and tune in and he made sure that was the experience that I was going to get. The facility is extremely relaxing, quiet, clean, and professional. I finished my float and I was free to leave. I enjoyed doing the payment before the service so I could leave in that peaceful headspace without having to tune out to deal with payment and conversation. I will be back and I'm extremely grateful for the experience provided by Cryotherapy !”
“After an afternoon of self care at Cryotherapy Indy we hit the town for our anniversary feeling wonderful! We experienced the salt tank, sauna and cryotherapy. All of these combined really made us feel so good. Cryotherapy is a little intense but well worth the freeze!”

Evidence & context
What research says about cold therapy
Recovery
Reviews of whole-body cold therapy mostly show effects on perceived muscle soreness and recovery after intense exercise. The evidence base is heterogeneous and samples are often small.
Research base
Studies describe short-term effects on pain perception and mobility. Results are inconsistent and robust long-term data is largely missing — a therapeutic benefit is not established.
Limitations
Cold therapy does not replace medical treatment. Effect, dosage and frequency vary individually — pre-existing conditions require medical clearance beforehand.
