I love this place and the people in it. The classes are always always exactly what I didn't know I needed. It's as if the teachers are mind readers or simply just incredibly intuitive and sensitive to their participants. We are all ages and levels and yet, We all walk out smiling and nodding and saying yes, that's just what I needed :-))))) The welcome and the kindness and the fun and cheeky giggles and warm smiles are inspiring and uplifting. I always left the studio with gratitude and a smile in my heart and went on to have THE greatest day ever. I love them all and thank you. The Ice bathing is incredible, the support and encouragement are amazing and the clean and tidy way it is done is so nice. Thank you all so much, xxxxx

Evidence & context

What research says about cold therapy

Recovery

Reviews of whole-body cold therapy mostly show effects on perceived muscle soreness and recovery after intense exercise. The evidence base is heterogeneous and samples are often small.

Research base

Studies describe short-term effects on pain perception and mobility. Results are inconsistent and robust long-term data is largely missing — a therapeutic benefit is not established.

Limitations

Cold therapy does not replace medical treatment. Effect, dosage and frequency vary individually — pre-existing conditions require medical clearance beforehand.
