Fantastic spot! My new favorite place after a run on the waterfront. A real first class facility, the infrared saunas are high quality and the cold plungers will literally take your breath away.

I had an amazing experience at this sauna and ice bath spot! From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was welcoming, clean, and incredibly relaxing. The owner was friendly, knowledgeable, and even offered me a free session when I couldn’t figure out how to book online! The sauna was beautifully maintained, with just the right level of heat and a calming ambiance that made it easy to unwind. The ice bath was intense (in the best way possible!) — super refreshing and invigorating. The contrast between the heat and cold left me feeling completely recharged, mentally clear, and physically energized. You can tell the business really cares about creating a high-quality wellness experience. I’ll definitely be coming back regularly — this place is a hidden gem!

I love the Infrared Saunas at RunPoneke. I use them for date night with my partner and for the same price as a round of drinks we get a private sauna for 45 mins. Will the owner is super helpful and friendly, very accommodating! Love the views of the city and boats from the suanas.

Reviews of whole-body cold therapy mostly show effects on perceived muscle soreness and recovery after intense exercise. The evidence base is heterogeneous and samples are often small.

Research base

Studies describe short-term effects on pain perception and mobility. Results are inconsistent and robust long-term data is largely missing — a therapeutic benefit is not established.
