Love this place! I'm a very active person practicing martial arts and strength training, and Vital Cryotherapy is my go to for relief and recovery. I can't stand ice baths so this is a great alternative! Quick, convenient, and I feel so much better afterwards! Really friendly helpful staff here as well. I recommend combining the red light therapy then the cryo for the best results.

Absolute 10/10. Fantastic experience, the most lovely staff. I tried the cryotherapy twice and both times after exercise and it seemed to help rejuvenate me immediately. I also tried the red light therapy before cryo once and it was so lovely to be so warm and relaxed before the cold! Really made the cold feel not so bad! Recommend!

Training is hard, but recovery is easier with cryotherapy at Vital. I appreciate how quick and convenient it is to pop in for a session! The staff are super kind and can answer any and every question you have about cryo. I also recently tried their red light and LOVED how meditative it was to listen to my audiobook and zen out for 20 minutes! I would highly recommend stacking both services back to back.

Evidence & context

What research says about cold therapy

Recovery

Reviews of whole-body cold therapy mostly show effects on perceived muscle soreness and recovery after intense exercise. The evidence base is heterogeneous and samples are often small.

Research base

Studies describe short-term effects on pain perception and mobility. Results are inconsistent and robust long-term data is largely missing — a therapeutic benefit is not established.

Limitations

Cold therapy does not replace medical treatment. Effect, dosage and frequency vary individually — pre-existing conditions require medical clearance beforehand.
