First I didn’t understand the concept on how freezing your body could have such a beneficial effect to your health, but then thinking of Swiss, Norwegians and Siberians, how they jump in the frozen lake, being some of the healthiest people in terms of body condition, it all made sense and I tried myself Cryosauna. It felt a bit awkward at the beginning, but I felt so light and energetic after. I felt very fresh. On the other hand, I have a strong lower back pain and doing Cryosauna regularly, the back pain has gone and now I can even go running without having any pain after. I changes I felt after using Cryosauna for a while are : my back pain has gone, soft and more tonified skin and full of energy. Fully recommended! Alina

Great customer service. All staff are bilingual and were friendly and knowledgeable. I did the cryosauna (full body) and facial treatment and felt amazing afterwards. My sore muscles recovered quickly and my skin looked great!

Very good salon for athletes or for women like me, who want to stay on top of their health and youthful skin. I had the full body treatment but also the facial cryo and that was fantastic. Highly recommend it

Evidence & context

What research says about cold therapy

Recovery

Reviews of whole-body cold therapy mostly show effects on perceived muscle soreness and recovery after intense exercise. The evidence base is heterogeneous and samples are often small.

Research base

Studies describe short-term effects on pain perception and mobility. Results are inconsistent and robust long-term data is largely missing — a therapeutic benefit is not established.

Limitations

Cold therapy does not replace medical treatment. Effect, dosage and frequency vary individually — pre-existing conditions require medical clearance beforehand.
