“Has such a great time at Fuse Saunas. Louise was so friendly and helpful. Felt so good after the session and will definitely be going back soon.”
“Amazing afternoon session Beautiful essential oils whilst we heated up and the cold baths were invigorating. Lou was really helpful and knowledgeable. A lovely experience”
“I visited Fuse Saunas at the start of May. I had completed an 18 mile walk the previous day and was in need of some relaxation. The sauna was very spacious and warm. The bird feeder outside on the sauna window provided lots of interest as there were lots of birds using it. In between I did the ice plunge which took a bit of getting used to but could feel the effect instantly. Louise was a lovely and friendly host. I would definitely recommend Fuse and would return.”

Evidence & context
What research says about cold therapy
Recovery
Reviews of whole-body cold therapy mostly show effects on perceived muscle soreness and recovery after intense exercise. The evidence base is heterogeneous and samples are often small.
Research base
Studies describe short-term effects on pain perception and mobility. Results are inconsistent and robust long-term data is largely missing — a therapeutic benefit is not established.
Limitations
Cold therapy does not replace medical treatment. Effect, dosage and frequency vary individually — pre-existing conditions require medical clearance beforehand.
