“A fantastic experience, a stunning location. We were lucky enough to visit in February 26 and had a magical session in the sauna. Being able to step out, straight onto the pontoon and cold plunge in the Arctic circle was phenomenal. Whether you're a diehard sauna fan, or just there for the experience, well worth the visit. The facilities are absolutely adequate, but there are non toilets on site.”
“Wonderful experience. Though i had private booking. 5 people were still lagging behind. They were told to leave but didn’t rush. Very rude of them. Not Norwegian of course. But I did have s few good minutes. If private booking. Make sure you insist cleared out, by staff.”
“Absolutely a stand out experience in Tromso. Online booking was simple and efficient, and received a pin code the day of for the changing facility access. The changing room is small.....more than 3 dudes in the and there's definitely going to be some sword fighting going on, but after you've rinsed in barely-above-ice temperature water, off you go to either the sauna or plunge. Our water temp was about 2* today, and it felt it! But it was worth it to say I cannonballed into the Arctic ocean. The sauas were amazing. The Lavvo is circular so that it's easy to get into conversations, while the Original is bench style, quieter and has beautiful views of the Arctic Cathedral, Bridge and Fjellheisen. Overall I found it a great value for the time and experience. Would definitely do again and recommend to others. Staff were great, and the entire area was spotless. You do need to bring towels; I emailed about renting them there as an option and never got a response, but luckily our hotel had no issue with giving is a few to take. No 'lockers', more like Cubby's toabtire your belongings in the changing rooms. No issues with anything, and there are a few cell phone storage racks around the saunas.”
